Chakras

Let us understand about Our Chakras (Energy Centres in Our Body)

The word ‘chakra’ means ‘wheel’ in Sanskrit, and it symbolizes the flow of energy in our body which corresponds to specific nerve bundles and internal organs. The 7 chakras present in our body are actually the energy centers and are known to regulate emotions.

The seven major chakras run from the base of your spine to the top of your head. If any of these energy centers get blocked, you may experience physical, mental or emotional symptoms related to the particular chakra. Every Chakra has a particular frequency, beej or seed mantra, mudra, color, asanas, foods and life role.

Function and Importance of the Chakras

The chakras act as distribution centers. They distribute the five ‘pranas’(energies) to their associated local regions. For example, the root chakra will distribute the ‘apana prana’(outward moving energies)(to the pelvic region and provide energy for the organs in this region. When a chakra is blocked or not functioning properly, this distribution pattern gets disturbed and physical or psycho-emotional energy issues arise. .

Every chakra is associated to a part of life, emotion, gland, organ system of that gland and an element. Sound healing works on these chakras and unblocks energizes and balances them to achieve a healthy body, mind and soul.

The use of crystals in sound healing

Crystals play a significant role in sound healing therapy. Different crystals vibrate with different frequencies, and specific crystals are used to heal specific needs. We at brahmanaaad use crystals specific to every chakras of all the seven chakras to enhance and accelerate the sound healing process. These create an energy field within the body that calms the body and mind. Crystals like red jasper, carnelian, citrine, rose quartz, lapis, amethyst and clear quartz are some of the crystals used during the healing sessions.

How sound healing works?

Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto’s experiments on water memory found that human vibrational energy, thoughts, words, ideas, and sound affect the molecular structure of water and can dramatically shape the way water crystallizes. Given that our bodies are 72% water, we can expect sound frequencies to alter our vibrational state.

As water particles are more densely packed compared to air, sound travels faster through water. Thus, the energy the sound waves carry is transported faster, and this forms the basis of sound healing. Since 95% of physical and mental ailments are related to stress and emotions, sound healing helps to balance and heal the mind and body.

Experience Transmode through Sound therapy

Transmode is that stage in sound therapy where the clients go into a deep sleep in which they are made to communicate and connect with their inner self. They are made to deviate from the real world so that they can reach the deepest self and heal from within. The sound therapistguides the client to reachan entirely different zone of bliss.

Sound therapy uses different stages of the procedure, among which there are alpha, beta, gamma, theta, and delta stages. The delta pattern usually operates at a frequency of 0.5 to 4 Hz, and it is like a dreamless sleep. It is also like a deeper stage of sleep. The theta stage improves meditation and creativity and is primarily done in the REM phase. The gamma pattern consists of frequencies that help in the person's arousal from deep sleep and promotes maintenance of one's health. The beta pattern increases concentration and promotes alertness in an individual.
